I stay in Jumierah Lakes Towers (JLT) - a modern, beautiful and happening part of Dubai with close to 100 Skyscrapers and surrounded by lakes. My balcony offers unobstructed views of the lakes where one can enjoy a quiet stroll in the evening.

The famous Dubai Marina and JBR The Walk are 5 mins from my apartment. Burj Al Arab is a 15 min drive and the Metro station is 30 Seconds walk. Umpteen restaurants are in the vicinity offering multi-cuisines delicacies.

I believe the best way one can see and explore a new place is through a localite's perspective - the best cafes are hidden in cobbled streets! Only a localite would know which joints offer the best pizzas!
