About Me

I don't actually live in LA anymore, but I'm a digital Nomad now and you can't set your location to "nowhere"

------------------------------------

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world in order to be lost and confused.

ABOUT ME

I'm a 3D Artist working in video-games.

I was born in Pennsylvania, moved to Saudi Arabia as a Baby, moved back to the US in 6th grade. After graduating high school, I lived in Savannah, GA for 4 years while in college, then Pittsburgh, PA for around 4 years. I had a brief stint in San Francisco in the middle of that for an internship.

I like movies, video games, socializing and meeting new people, travelling, learning new things, good food, good coffee, and good beer.

Oh, and here's my facebook:

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet people from all over, get to know the city where I live, and occasionally when traveling, see the city with a local.

In other words, it's fun, and really not that much of an imposition.

I usually host people whenever I can. During weekdays, I'm always busy at work, but if you come during the weekend, I usually like to hang out.

Oh, and I guess I need to say this since I'm a straight guy (and we do kinda suck sometimes), but this is only social for me, and I'm NOT doing this to host girls and hit on them. There are waaay less creepy ways to get laid.

By the way, I often see people telling people to give phrases when requesting. It honestly doesn't matter to me if you copy and paste, but at least take out the different person's name. C'mon bro, put in a LITTLE effort.

Interests

Movies, video games, socializing and meeting new people, travelling, learning new things, friendly arguing, good food, good coffee, and good beer, art, theater, comedy, partying, reading

Music, Movies, and Books

How much time do you have? Seriously, it would take forever to list everything and keep it up to date. So 2 sentences to describe each.

Music - Literally about anything but country. Seriously, my computer has everything from Rock (all of them) to Electronic to Classical.

Movies - I have a movie collection that's so big, I'm actually a little embarrassed. Netflix, Amazon Prime and HBOGO have at least made my cinephelia a little less visible. But to avoid a copout answer, I usually say Saving Private Ryan is my favorite, but my actual favorite changes day to day because my tastes go all over the place. But I guess the of the new movies I've seen in the last year or so and loved as of this writing (December 2017) that I can think of off the top of my head in a minute or so were Coco, The Darkest Hour, The Big Sick, Get Out, Baby Driver, Logan, and Manchester By the Sea. Then as far as older movies that I often think of off the top of my head for various Genres as my favorites are Saving Private Ryan, American Beauty, Amelie, Airplane, Pan's Labyrinth, Monster's Inc, Pulp Fiction, Romeo And Juliette (Zeffirelli) and Black Swan

Books - Used to read a lot of Fiction and non-fiction. Kinda stopped in college because of lack of time, but slowly returning to my former book-wormy days.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lounging on the top of a mountain in Hallstatt, Austria drinking delicious coffee admiring the view.

And getting drunk with locals on the steps of Florence Cathedral, and occasionally forgetting I was sitting on the steps of one of the most beautiful things ever created by people.

I know that's two, but they were both so amazing in different ways.

There are of course plenty more, but the thing said one. I hope to update to a new, latest one soon :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Fantastic company :-)

Also, knowledge and war stories about what kind of work goes in to creating Video Games, animated and VFX heavy movies.

I could also cook some decent Arabic Food if you're in to that.
