Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I was a former case manager for a non-profit organization serving individuals experiencing homelessness. My role was to create a step-by-step plan for the clients to help build them back to being self-sustaining individuals. In particular, there was a family (a mother and two sons) who were in a tough situation and needed a place to stay and jobs. They were living in their van for a year and have been searching endlessly for help. I stayed in the office later than closing every night for weeks until we landed both the sons a job with a construction company, and land the first bid on a house for them (the house was part of a contract with another non-profit, but we were the first to bid). It was such an amazing feeling to help this family and know that I did all that I could for them to help them succeed.

Oh, I also lead a sun salutation (yoga sequence) at the Electric Daisy Carnival :D
