ABOUT MY PLACE (potentially important for women travelling solo):
It is very important for me that my guests feel comfortable staying at my place. Because of this I want to warn in advance that I live in a pretty small studio appartment and your sleeping place will be a 160x220 mattress on the floor (big enough for 2 people easily). So if you need personal space or don't feel comfortable sleeping with a man in the same room, it won't be a good place for you (if you are afraid about unwanted advances while couchsurfing it's always a good idea to read the references carefully, my advice to all the solo women travellers using the website!). Also, I occasionally snore (and fairly loud according to guests so maybe earplugs is a good idea, I might have some in case you forget). Finally, I work in a psychiatric care facility and sometimes I might have to get up 3 or 4 AM for an early shift!

ABOUT ME:
I am but a small person in a huge world. I am constantly trying to comprehend incomprehensible and make sense of things that don't make much sense at all.
Now, on a less lyric note - I am a pretty chill and easy-going, trying to be as open-minded as possible, like a good laugh and a deep conversation. I have my downsides as well, of course: I struggle with winter blues, I overthink things constantly, sometimes I don't really want to spend time with people. Back to the positive though: I don't just enjoy deep stuff like art and classical literature, I also like to play video games, read Stephen Kind and Terry Pratchett, watch silly series and camp in the nature. In my free time I also draw, paint and write short stories: www.writingsofthenoin.blog . If you visit this site you can get to know my way of thinking a bit better.
I also post illustrations on Instagram: @artbynoin, I make handpoke tattoos (for my guests too!) - recently not so much though. Recently I started to be more and more interested in spirituality and philosophy, after being very distraught about the state of the world for so long. Now I try to think about the world affairs less and be more aware of the actual world around me.

ATTENTION: If you want to thank me for hosting, I am not taking any money (obviously) but I collect literature from different cultures. You can bring me an important piece of literature from your country, something that everyone there knows but foreigners not so much! Either in English, German or Russian, but also in the local language!
