About Me

I'm just an ordinary person with a deep passion for traveling. What excites me most about exploring the world isn’t just the landscapes or landmarks, it’s the people, cultures, and stories behind each place. I love connecting with locals, learning about their way of life, and sharing meaningful conversations that often turn into lasting memories.

I really enjoy meeting new people and sharing travel experiences. For personal comfort and cultural reasons, I only host female travelers at my home.

However, I’m open to meeting up with all travelers male or female for a chat, sharing stories, or showing you around if I’m free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I registered on Couchsurfing a long time ago, but I only started using it actively in 2022. What truly inspired me was a one-month backpacking trip to Pakistan with my friends at the end of 2019, just before the pandemic changed the world.

During our trip, we were accompanied by a local Pakistani friend for the entire month. It was the first time I truly connected with someone local in a country I was visiting. He welcomed us into his world, we stayed at his grandfather's house in his village, met his friends and relatives, and experienced daily life through his eyes.

What stood out the most was the warmth and hospitality we received. We were treated like family. I still remember dancing and singing with his female cousins one evening, there was no television, so this was their way of entertaining guests. It was such a genuine, joyful moment.

That experience deeply changed the way I see travel. Before that, I would go from country to country, take pictures, enjoy the views, and move on. But I realized that what makes a place truly memorable are the people you meet and the connections you make along the way.

Now, Couchsurfing is my way of giving back. After receiving so much kindness and hospitality from strangers around the world, I hope to offer the same in return. If you're ever passing through my town, I’d love to help make your journey a little more meaningful and maybe share a few laughs along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydive in Wanaka, New Zealand
I’ve always been afraid of heights, so skydiving was never on my bucket list. But during a trip to Wanaka, New Zealand, I made a last-minute decision, literally 10 minutes before the plane took off to join my friend for a skydive. As soon as I said yes, my hands and body started shaking. I was terrified.

But Alhamdulillah, by the grace of Allah, I managed to conquer my fear. That jump was one of the most terrifying yet empowering moments of my life. It reminded me that sometimes, pushing past fear leads to the most unforgettable memories.

Living with Nomads in Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia
Another unforgettable experience was staying with a nomadic family in a traditional ger (yurt) in Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia. It was completely different from anything I had ever experienced , no running water, no electricity, no mobile signal, and no toilet.

It was my first time living so remotely and simply. Despite the lack of modern comforts, the warmth and hospitality of the nomadic family made me feel at home. It was a humbling experience that taught me to appreciate the little things and the beauty of living close to nature.
