ABOUT ME

At this moment we are traveling in Guatemala and other countries in Central America. We are a happy couple, always full of plans and dreams.. :-)
TIM: I'm a university student of psychology. I'm really interested in people and what they think, do, etc. And I am a laid-back person.. :-)
WILLEMIEKE: I'm working as a nurse, and have worked in a couple of hospitals and other places. I'm a social, happy person who likes meeting and helping people and traveling around the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Willemieke: I believe in God, life is about caring about/for other people and make the most of it.

Tim has the same principals but is a seeker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We had one great couchsurfing experience in Paris! We have always loved the idea of couchsurfing and enjoyed meeting a really cool guy in Paris. We promise that when whe have a house in Holland we will host couch surfers as well. :-D

Music, Movies, and Books

TIM: I listen to a very broad range of music; from classical to rock, from pop to metal, from dance to 60-80'ish. Favorite musicians are Leonard Cohen, Muse, Sufjan Stevens, Coldplay, DJ Tiesto, Enya and Simon & Garfunkel (among a lot others).
My movie taste is less diverse but I still like a lot of genres. Mostly I watch arthouse, cult, drama and science fiction.

WILLEMIEKE: I love to sing and play the guitar, as well as listening to music. I like gospel, African music and happy music in general :).
