Hi! my name is Berta, I am a 22 years old spanish girl, born in Barcelona, and actually living and studying Fine Arts in Greece. I would define myself as a calm person, a little shy at the beginning maybe, but very curious and energic when I get confident. I enjoy watching films with people, an playing games where painting or writing is involved. I love animals, I always had cats in my house and I really thing they make everything better. I am also interested in cuisine, even though I have not studied anything related with it, sometimes I spend time with my friends trying to cook some new recipes whe are able to fins on internet.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I especially like to discover how people live their nowadays in other cultures and I thought couchsurfing was a very nice way of meeting people of the place I am visiting and also let them disover how I live.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite film is "Labyrinth", where David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly are the main charaters, it is from the 80's and I really find it a piece of art. Other films: "Beautiful Mind", "Amelie", "The ring", "Tesis", "Chocolate", "Leon the profesional", "Slumdog millionaire", "Dancing with wolves", "Drácula", "Dirty Dancing", "The Sixth sense", "The Congress" ... I also enjoy a lot animation films, especially the ones from Ghibli studio. My favourite book is "Wicked" of Gregory Maguire. I did the character of the wicked witch of the west when I was still in school , after I read this book I completely felt in love with the story and the character. Other books: "Frankenstein", "Notre Dame de Paris", "The importance of being Ernest", "Theater and its double" , "Dràcula", "Anna Karenina" ... About music i can like a little bit of everything. Blues and Soul are very familiar for me. Rock, metal or music from the 80's are usually the kind of music I listen. Here some bands/singers I like: Michael Jackson, The Cure, Whitesnake, Earth Wind and Fire, Beth Hart, Norther, Joe Cocker, Steve Ray Vaughan, Danzig, Lordi, Def Leppard, Megadeth, Sôber, Leonard Cohen, Perséfone, Stivie Wonder, ...
