Welcome to Cohi English!

We are an English center located in Binh Thanh district, Ho Chi Minh City. We focus our classes on communication and interactions between our students (between 17 and 30 years old) and foreigners.

Our place is a great opportunity for you to learn about Vietnamese culture and life. All English-speaking people are welcome! A wide range of topics are discussed in class, providing an interesting and original cultural exchange.

We offer our volunteers free accommodation in dorms, all equipped with AC and bed curtains, free water on each floor, free Wifi, and authentic local-style home-cooked meals prepared by our in-house chef. Our equipped kitchen is also open for everyone to use.

Our crew will always be available to help you with Vietnamese customs and culture. For example, advice for food, prices, motorbike renting, groceries, dentists, hospitals, etc…

REQUIREMENTS:

Our volunteers speak conversational English with students for 3 hours a day (10am-11am, 3pm-4pm, & 8pm-9pm) and should show enthusiasm and a friendly attitude. No teaching skills are required!

We welcome all nationalities as long as you can speak English and make conversation.

We expect:
-3 hours of communicational classes a day.
-Enthusiasm.
-Friendly attitude.
-English-speaking ability.

We are located in the heart of Binh Thanh District, a local area, which will grant you a unique experience in Vietnamese culture. A market-street with local products is near the house as well as a MiniStop, both of which are only a 3 minute walk away. We are located 5km from the airport.

In the area you’ll be able to find everything you need, like pharmacies, bike garages and rentals, hairdressers, phone shops, coffee shops and delicious street food. Bui Vien, the never-sleeping center of Ho Chi Minh is only 5km away.
