Becoming a Salsero / Learning some Russian for an upcoming trip!

ABOUT ME

I'm an Irishman living in Edmonton! Meeting new people, traveling and learning about other cultures is what inspires my life. Playing a good tune on the guitar or accordion is my one true love! Oh and I can make baah-rilliant sheep impressions:)

I moved to Canada to work as an Engineer and am using this experience to learn more about myself and discover new passions! One of these is dance...never thought I'd dance but now I can't get enough! Long live the cuban hip-movement:)

Apart from my other hobbies, I really have an urge to learn a new language and live in a Country where I wouldn't be speaking English everyday. It's a "want" that I have to turn into a "need", therefore I am in the process of planning my next travel adventure!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been active in cultural groups all throughout university and have studied abroad too. I think it's great karma to help others out, especially when they're unfamiliar with their surroundings. The people I meet usually leave with a happy stride in their step...possibly from all the Irish music stuck in their minds from being around me ahahaha:)

I've had the privilege of hosting some great people from all over the world and travelling with others when I was studying abroad. I've hosted lots of people :)
