Hello! I’m Okto. I’m a social architect and researcher from the Indonesia-Timor Leste borderlands. Currently, I am a Research Presenter at the University of Oxford (March 2026) and Harvard Faculty Club 2025, focusing on community resilience and social innovation.

I navigate two worlds:
The Professional and Academic: 19 years in strategic communication and marketing at Hard Rock Cafe Bali, alongside academic Summer and Winter School at Leiden University and University of Amsterdam.

The Social Entrepreneur: Founder of @oklfoundation, where I lead strategic partnerships for a holistic social ecosystem in the frontier—covering literacy, weaving arts, and creative farming.

I am a "Practitioner-Scholar." While I manage Strategic Partnerships at a high level, I believe true leadership starts on the frontlines. You’ll often find me active as a Volunteer in community kitchens or beach cleanups. I’m just as comfortable discussing global policy as I am chopping onions for 500+ meals or picking up trash with Trash Hero.

My favorite Books are Mutiny of the Bounty, The Song of Achilles, The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, Big Little Lies, and Sherlok Holmes.

My favorite movie is Oliver Twice, and The Hobbit. Otherwise, I like action, horror, Drama, Documentary and comedy.
