We are Ola and Mete.
We live in Warsaw.

I love cooking and eating - these are my biggest passions. I worked in Turkish and Chinese restaurants just to learn some cooking tricks. When I travel, I focus on local specialties :) Shakshuka, punjena parika, okonomiyaki, mercimek çorbası... - If you know what are these, you are already my friend :)

Mete is a chemical engineer, and he loves cooking and food even more than I do. He adores every fluffy animal, especially cats :) :)

I thought I would study psychology or anthropology. But I ended up getting a Master of Arts degree. My interests are pretty vast. I like history, art, social sciences.... I also love cycling around my city, knitting and reading books about traveling.

MY CURRENT MISSION...

.. is to know how to cook at least one dish from each country. I'm open to everyone who is willing to share his/her best recipes :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've been travelling my whole life. I visited plenty of countries and met lovely people. Couchsurfing is a way for me to keep my eyes and heart open for everything the world has to offer. Meeting and talking to people whether when hosting or travelling is an opportunity for me to grow as a human being :)
