ABOUT ME

I think my friends would call me a little nerdy with a tendency to analyze and optimize every little task. They would point out that I am a great fan of board games and competitive dancing. If no one is around I try to be an artist with painting and modeling. In addition to that I really like to enjoy a good wine :)

One important information: During the "Bergkirchweih" in Erlangen and "Christkindlesmarkt" in Nuremberg I will not accept any guests.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is going along a long path with a door every now and there. You can look into these doors but if you decide to step through usually there is no way back. But changing the path from time to time and start something new is something I really enjoy, it keeps me from getting bored.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I started Couchsurfing in 2014 when I was looking for a Flat in Konstanz. Since then I hosted and surfed many times. I like to host interesting persons who have a different view on life than me. If you are just looking for a place to sleep but have no interest in spending some hours together to exchange experiences please do not send a request.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started being an active couchsurfer in May 2014. Until now I have to say I only had very enjoyable encounters as well surfing as hosting. I am therefore looking forward to more great experiences. If you are interested in staying with me please give some reasons why you think we would get along or have at least a meaningfull profile.

Centres d'intérêt

I am doing sports (dancing and some cycling) and really like challenging, complex games. If no one is available for playing or sports I paint miniatures for my own show case or to give them away as a gift.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I have quite a collection of DVDs at home. My personal favorite are the new movies based on Marvel Comics and I agree, it is a bit nerdy. Concerning music I am a big fan of swing and rock an roll, fitting to my most favored ballroom and latin dances.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Tried to cycle from Konstanz to Cologne in a week in 2014... Only stopped by a technical defect followed by a crash on the asphalt. In 2015 I cycled the Danube from Donaueschingen to Passau.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

What can I offer? I can teach ballroom and latin dancing up to the entry into competive dancing. In addition I have a wide knowledge in physics and I am an expert on the topic of nuclear energy if anyone is interested in controversial discussions. Or I just introduce to one of the great board games in my collection ;)
