Basically just a super energetic, bubbly person! I'm curious about a lot of things so if you have something fun you're into, I'd probably love to talk about it and maybe even try it out!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I started out running on a very giant gap year traveling all over the US meeting people from so many places and cultures through WWOOF, and now am condensing to a specific path as a rancher, and plan to travel seasonally with some WWOOF stints in between both to fuel my free spirit meeting cool people and learning new stuff, and to help out those farmers that can’t afford to pay for help. I'm here on Couchsurfing as I believe it to be a beautiful community with a diverse group of people and perspectives, and I’ve been so fortunate to come across so many people with such rich perspectives in life, many of whom I would call my friends now. I know I wouldn’t be the person today without meeting some of the people I met on CS, and find it very close to my heart.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Crane Wives, Florence + The Machine, Of Monsters and Men, Lana de Ray, Rabbitology, Noah Kahan ATLA, Avatar 1 (blue people), a ton of anime - Hunter x Hunter, Erased, the Promised Neverland, etc. Secretariat, the Black Stallion, I love a bunch of older movies The Name of the Wind, Moby Dick, LOTR, Harry Potter, I like classics and adventure, philosophical books and some non-fiction. Interested in nutritional science and the science of horses - training, eventing etc. I also am interested in evolutionary biology.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Trained young horses! And galloped in the mountains and rolling hills of Arizona, Arkansas, and parts of Texas
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd love to learn more about psychology, traditional practices of meditation, kundalini, and a lot of the lesser known practices of spirit/meditation work throughout the world and the history behind them. I'm also interested in farming and ranching. I can share some good book recommendations, quiet company when needed. I can share stories from my WWOOFing adventures so far! I am currently starting work as a beginner horseback riding instructor and work primarily on ranches, training horses, caring for livestock, and working my butt off (at my most recent ranch ~80hrs/wk) doing everything ranch hands do!
What I Can Share With Hosts
Interesting questions, thoughtful conversation, serenity, a listener (I'm an ambivert that can be a good soundboard for ideas and perspectives), and an adventerous buddy to tag along. I have some interesting stories of my own, having lived a pretty unique life, living with foreign exchange students, and working on a bunch of various farms/ranches, my life resume is filled with anecdotes, and I still have so much to learn! I can also sing and would totally be down to sing in a drum circle. I’m very nature-minded, I describe myself as having the heart of a hippie and the dutiful nature of the rancher. I'm good with poetry and writing too, and can make a blanket pretty much from start to finish (carding, dyeing, spinning, crocheting), minus shearing the actual sheep. I know how to groom dogs though!
My Interests
I'm one of those people that have way to many interests for their own good, picks it up one day and becomes obsessed, or forgets about it after two weeks. I'm basically a kid. Here's the list so far: Running/biking (I love trail running!), mountain hiking, painting/sketching, crochet, traditional Chinese medicine, horseback riding, reading (I love psychology related books), coffee, etc. I tend to get excited over new things and am always learning and growing. My boyfriend is a blacksmith and origami artist, and so I’ve been learning a lot from him too. I really want to learn more about welding, especially since it’s so useful on ranches and I aim to run my own in the future.
