I am a traveler that finds food and language as the best ways to learn about a culture. I am a vegetarian/vegan cook that enjoys finding new snacks, desserts, meals, etc. When I am not blogging about the creations I have made, I like learning new languages. I am currently utilizing Duolingo to refresh my German and Spanish skills, while trying to learn Dutch and Swedish.

I am the type of person that loves to plan things out beforehand, but always ends up just going with the flow. When travelling with others, I tend to be the person that leads the group. I love being resourceful!

I first started to use CS when I was studying abroad in Germany (Spring/Summer 2011). After having such amazing experiences, I want to continue meeting such great people through hosting, being hosted, and meeting up.

Listening to music, that "it's raining" smell, laughing till laughs don't even come out, people watching, eating great food, playing the euphonium, playing rugby, learning new languages.
