About Me
ABOUT ME:
Hey there! I’m a 30-year-old originally from Norway, currently living in vibrant Copenhagen. Life has taken me on quite a journey — I’ve studied in both Phuket and Pennsylvania, and now work in IT, which gives me the flexibility to keep exploring the world one country at a time. My current mission? Visit every country in Europe 🇪🇺
I’m passionate about connecting with people from all walks of life. Whether it’s sharing stories over coffee, going for long walks through new neighborhoods, or diving into deep, meaningful conversations — I’m all about genuine experiences and international friendships.
Easy-going, curious, and always up for a new adventure. Let’s cross paths somewhere in the world!

I am an avid walker so happy to give you a guided tour around the city whether you are staying or not at my place. Just reach out 😀
MY PLACE:
I live in a small but modern apartment located in a central co-living building in Copenhagen. The space includes a convertible couch (bed) in the combined kitchen/living room. You can check out more details and photos of the building here (https://kaktus-towers.dk/main/gallery/images/475), and photos of my specific setup under Photos → Couch Photos.
While the apartment is compact, you’ll have your own bed in the shared living area. I’ll provide clean bed linen, blanket and a pillow. The bathroom is shared and located through my bedroom. You’ll also get a spare key, so you can come and go freely, even if I’m not home. I may work from home during your stay. I will let you know beforehand.
The building offers great shared facilities: laundry room, kitchen, social lounge, work zone, bike parking, and a café.
If you’re comfortable with this setup, I’d be happy to host you.
Please mention “Kaktus 🌵” at the end of your message to show that you’ve read and are okay with the quirks of my place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My primary reason is to connect with people and to build friendships. I want to host people of my own once I get my own place and would love to experience it first hand before I do so.
I also love to talk and socialize and so learning and exchanging knowledge and experiences is a cool concept off couch surfing that I wish to utilize.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my senior year of high school I traveled to Zambia (Africa) to build homes for the less fortunate as part of Habitat for Humanity. During this time I got to experience the life of a local Zambian by living, breathing, and socializing as part of their daily life. I ate, slept and worked as they would. I had bugs and insects for dinner and slept on pure concrete. It was one of the most incredible experiences I've had in my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Having been to multiple countries I can share stories, facts and interesting information regarding some of the places I've been.
I can teach anything IT related as this is my passion and what I am currently working as. I also have deep interests in sports, technology, movies/TV-shows and my past experiences travelling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Assuming you have read this far, I can guarantee that I have loads of travel stories and histories to share. Having lived and studied in multiple countries and experienced their cultures I can share insider information. Where to go in specific countries,. what to avoid and so forth. I am also a open minded individual who loves to talk and listen to anything.
I bring a lot of myself out and love to socialize and meet new people from around the world.
