I'm just a person trying to find my own way through life. Professionally, I've become a respected software engineer, but in my free time I'm interested in many of the mysteries of life. I've learned about physics, martial arts, dancing, drawing, and several other things, and I hope to be able to express my creative side more in the future. But most of all, I hope that I can make a difference in the world.

I do descend from the Sami people, and in recent years I've become interested in learning more about my origins, and the traditional (pre-Christian) beliefs and lifestyle of the Sami. Perhaps there's something to learn there, considering the way our civilization is headed.

I'm an introverted person. I'll answer questions and help you as best I can, but I'm probably not the best person to go partying with. Furthermore, in case it matters to you, I'm demisexual, I will not be interested in sexual relations with strangers. If you really want to thank me, then teach me something.

Some rules for contacting me:
- I intentionally keep my schedule flexible, and generally will not accept early requests (i.e., months in advance). If you send one, you might not get an answer before I'm comfortable scheduling you (typically a couple of weeks in advance).
- Send a message, don't just call me. Since I don't like telemarketers, phishers, and the like, I usually won't answer unexpected calls from unknown callers.
- If you have a question, then ask it. Don't send messages like "can I ask you a question?" without saying what the question is. In a written medium, that's pointless and disrespectful, and I might just ignore you.
- No "SMS lingo", please. To the extent possible, use proper language.
- Follow the Golden Rule. It's a good way to try to make the world a better place.
