About Me

I have traveled a lot when I was younger, so it is time to host again and share my experiences with other travelers, and this is the perfect way to do that!
I have been a host on various platforms over the last 10 years and have hosted over 300 guests.

I lost my family in a car accident just over 12 years ago, and was introduced to hosting, which helped me recover from depression.
Having guests made the empty house into a home again.
I also love road trips, and this is the perfect way to share my passion with like-minded people.

I work from home most of the time.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have the time and the space now to host and provide a safe, clean accommodation for fellow travelers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
There seems to be a trend now that when you offer to host some people, they don't respond or confirm the stay.
They must submit multiple requests and then see which one they like best.

So if you have been online multiple times in the last few days, from your request, and ignored my acceptance, then I will decline my offer.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like most music but not classical, my favourite movies are thrillers and comedies.
I don't read a lot,
I learn by doing practical things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Renovated a 250-year-old house by myself many years ago,
stayed in the most remote hotel in the UK.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to build a house, first aid, Massage therapy, Bushcraft and survival, car mechanics, welding, and many more skills.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my house and my experience

Countries I’ve Visited

Afghanistan, France, Germany, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Spain, United States
