ABOUT ME

I love travel but I can't get away anymore as much as I would like. I love talking to and meeting travellers as a way of compensating!

I love accents so if you love to talk I am a great listener :)

I am heading back to dear Europe in August 2015 for six weeks. This has became a bit of an annual pilgrimage now. This year I am planning to visit the beautiful city of Gdansk. Of course I will be basing myself in one of my favourite cities - Tallinn. Will be also spending some time in Lithuania and Finland.

In October 2015 I am heading to the states! Really pumped about that this! Planning for a couple of days in Baton Rouge, a couple of days in New Orleans and a week in Vegas and San Francisco.

I have a beautiful young son who lives with my ex-wife not far from me. I see him as much as I can and hence why I still reside in Brisbane and am not out on the road.

I have hosted, I have surfed, attended CS functions, offered advice to CSers online and tell all that will listen, that once you CS on your travels, you will never want to stay in hostels/hotels again!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I have been very fortunate in my travels having met some amazing people and having had some amazing experiences.

On of my personal fav travel experiences was having time alone early one morning on the flat topped Mayan temple at Tikal in Guatemala. Watching and listening to the whole jungle coming alive whilst perched on this amazing ancient monument. Just me and my thoughts.

I would love to learn some more Finnish, Estonian and French! Actually I am keen to learn some words in any language! I am so jealous of my multi lingual European friends.
