About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Imagination is more important than knowledge.

ABOUT ME

Ive lived in New Jersey, Louisiana, Texas, Las Vegas, Southern California, and Northern California (San Francisco). I have the most outstanding people in my life. Love meeting new ones and seeing new things. Currently studying abroad in Germany for the year and plan on doing alot of traveling and couch surfing. Can't wait for my next trip! :)

PHILOSOPHY

I love those who can smile in trouble, who can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. 'Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but they whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves their conduct, will pursue their principles unto death.
Leonardo da Vinci

Music, Movies, and Books

Ill just do my favorites because this list is endless :)
Movie: Labyrinth, if you havent seen it then DO IT! David Bowie at his finest!
&
My favorite kind at the moment are documentaries.
Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, half for their obvious awesomeness and the other half for nostalgia as they were my first musical obsession and who got me into my unquenchable taste for good music.
Book: Water for Elephants, I dont know if it is really my favorite because it just depends on the mood or phase Im in but it was one of the last ones I read and I really enjoyed it!
&
My favorite kind is autobiographies, the real stuff is the best stuff :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When visiting Ireland, I found a lucky horse shoe at a 200 year old haunted house AFTER finding the end of a GIANT rainbow, BEST DAY EVERRR!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

In this past 7 months of living abroad and now backpacking through Europe I now understand why travelling abroad and experiencing a different culture is so important: learning why a foreign culture does what they do makes you re-evaluate why you do what you do and then the same for another culture and so on and so on and then it makes you decide what you actually believe and agree with versus what your own society has programmed you to believe which opens a whole new world of perspectives and opportunities and, in my opinion, is the only way to find your own true self AND at the same time gaining respect for and understanding the rest of the world, how can you beat that?!?
(sorry if thats hard to follow, just a raw stream of consciousness)
