About Me

I'm Pascal! I do animated films, can make musical instruments (jarana),can craft puppets and produce organic herbs on the weekend! I work 4 hours a week as a motion design teacher, and spend the rest of my time using my hands, designing outdoor equipment, learning languages, playing music and the most important: laying in a hammock.

I currently am co-producing a social-justice themed radio show about adoption:, Check it out! I love linguistics... so, I'll automatically accept you in my home if you speak farsi or communicate in ASL.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Come and join our little family! We are an intentional community in the heart of Montreal! We host free events and workshops and feed ourselves from dumpster diving. Do you have something you'd like to teach? A dish from your country, your language, your field of study, your knowledge on mushrooms, plant growing, music,...?

I am one of those hosts who doesn't like copy-pasted requests. Even if it may or may not be concious of you, it shows that you're not interested in being involved and interested in the recieving community (9/10 couchsurfers I have accepted out of a copy/paste request left each other indifferent and have not contributed to the couchsurfing project in any way). So I will only be accepting you if you tell me what you are planning to teach or to share with me, my housemates and the larger community. ****SO BE SURE TO WRITE THAT IN YOUR REQUEST AS A SIGN THAT YOU TOOK TIME TO READ, and as a sign that you intend to be participating , giving and open during couchsurfing journey!!!! **** otherwise I'll reply to your message with a copy paste of this paragraph. To learn how to write a cs request, you can read:

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have warm memories about spending all night on the beach with astrophysicists waiting for the solar eclipse. Everything turned grey, shadows multiplied into multiple rings, the air was still and yet our spirit was effervescent.

TEACH: I can teach Photoshop, French, Photography theory and expose adoption issues.
LEARN: Spanish (Porteño), Farsi
SHARE: Play music together :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

Health brings a freedom very few realize, until they no longer have it.

To love is to read a song from someone's heart and to sing it back to them.

We're not tourists, we're travellers. A tourist is someone who thinks about going home the moment they arrive. Whereas a traveller might not come back at all.
