I hail from the Yarra Valley, a beautiful area close to Melbourne, Australia. While at home, I am a student and a hot-air balloon pilot. Through this job I have flown balloons throughout Australia and various parts of the world.

I recently returned from a 5 month backpacking trip, that turned into a year of traveling around the world. Through this I got a job as a naturalist/guide in Antarctica, now I have been doing that for 2 years. I get to go and do this in the Russian Arctic aswell.

My iPod is a gold-mine of classic rock and alternative music. I have a soft spot for big old rock bands. If I'm feeling weird I'll put on an album of Prince (RIP) and enjoy. I'm good enough at guitar to play around a campfire.
