About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I want to help shift organisations from top-down hierarchical machines to more networked, purposeful, caring communities.
I have a background as an international corporate lawyer and now work with small businesses and networks working with passion to make a difference.
ABOUT ME
I live in a forest.
I am happiest when spending time in nature. I am a reflective type but can be chatty too.
I have a nine year old son who is mad about football. I am married to Dasha.
I am writing a book about organisations and life (due out October 2016).
I am part of a network organisation called Edgeryders.
I would like to host but don't. It is not up to me - my wife likes to keep our private lives private, which I respect. Maybe I should make more of an effort to convince her to make an exception for couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I like the ethos. I haven't used it since I joined in 2011 - I have my own unofficial couchsurfing network that I use in London and elsewhere :-) But I would like to try it sometime. I love visiting different countries and meeting other people.
Interests
My work is mainly to do with structures and processes in business. May sound boring but I love it.
I love food, and am not bad as a cook. I bake really good sourdough bread. I love gardening, hiking, cross-country skiing, playing games with my son.
Love the theatre. And music, anything from Mozart operas to Jimi Hendrix, jazz and Supertramp.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not fair - I can't name just one.
I would say: Got married. Saw the birth of my son. Skied the Haute Route (Chamonix to Zermatt). Victoria Falls. Niagara. Jumped out of an aeroplane.
