About Me
I'm from Toulouse, in the South West of France.
Just quit my job as a web developper in Paris. Back from New York City last November where I interned for the UN, I did what anyone would do after graduating : get a job, an appartment, a girlfriend et voilà!
But turned out my job was pretty boring overall, I was not really in line with my colleagues, broke up with my girlfriend, and did not really like my appartment.
So what now ?
All I want is to finally do what I always wanted to but could not really 'cause you know it's complicated : play music and travel. So why not do both at the same time ? Challenge accepted.
Keyboard, speaker, mic, laptop, a few cables and here I am ready to play/sing wherever I want. I even have room for clothes !
So let me tell you, if you ever have the infinite kindness to host me, you get a special private concert.
My plan is to go around Europe first, then maybe beyond (Egypt, India, Indonesia... Japan? ) while playing/writing music, as well as working (remote, for the UN), 'cause well the man has to eat.
My goal is to do all this without taking a single plane, for ecological reasons, and because I want to take the time to apprehend the distance that I travel. And I have time !
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because it's always best to discover a city/culture with locals
Because I'm eager to share nice moments with nice people
Because we could jam !?
To practice my English/Spanish/Italian
Interests
Music, music, music. Did I mention music ?
Started with violin when I was 7, then switched to guitar and then keyboard, that I've played for a dozen years now. Got totally hooked on jazz.
I've always sung, but really started to be able to sing in front of people/take lessons about 2 years ago.
Now I'm totally hooked on R'n'B. If you want to give what I do a listen I have Instagram : @paulfabremusic
Other than music, I love surfing, snowboarding, longboarding, drinking beers, randomly wander around new cities, traveling by train, bath in rivers, eating, cheese, cinema...
