I am from Stellenbosch near Cape Town, South Africa. I travel in Europe, currently visiting my son in Reading, near London (UK).
I am single, divorced 14 years ago.
I have a son, working at Ikea Reading, a daughter, studying art at the University of Cape town, and a daughter in School.
I love sailing, and have a yacht at Gordon's bay yacht club in False bay near Cape town.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was inspired by my son to join, as he travelled in Europe for 5 months last year, meating wonderful people and made friends for life.
The most rewarding part of travelling is to meet people and share ideas, experiences and our different cultures.

Sailed into Table bay harbour, Cape Town, on my yacht.
Built artwork and did Rangrer service at Afrika Burn, the Burning man regional event in the Tankwa Karoo desert, South Africa.
Flown a Gyrocopter cross country in |South Africa.
Backpacking Europe.
