About Me
Buenas!
Heyhey!
I'm Paul (he/him), currently travelling with my bicycle from Costa Rica to the south of Mexiko. Apart from all my interests here's a list of things that might describe me with a little more variance :
+ I like: Theatre, the smell of fresh ginger and coffee beans and summer rains and book pages, the sound of burning wood and wind in the trees and turning book pages and walks through deep snow, coconut water, pancakes, dancing, tea, beer, sunsets, hiking, people, breakfast and lunch and dinner and every other form of meal beyond and in between
+ I do not like: Violence and violent people, racism and any other form of hate against any other human being out there, bike theft and such things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know new places through the people actually living here, to share stories and learn from each other and to get a little insight into what it is to actually live in and not only visit a place.

Music, Movies, and Books
Would fill a book of its own to list them all. I read, watch and listen to nearly everything. Grew up in a big mountain of fantasy books and am lately carefully and happily making my way back into this realm after pretending for years to be too old for that, listen to everything ranging from soft acoustic to hard techno and generally prefer the theatre to the cinema.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Feels a bit weird to state that about myself. But doing this bike journey definitely feels amazing to me right now.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want to know a little about Shakespeare, psychoanalysis or the many great advantages of a coconut, I'm happy to share what I'm passionate about. I myself would like to learn Bengali and the difference between a roti and a chapati and am happy to share and be shared with on any other topic!
