Overview
About Me
Nature and the outdoors inspire me. My spirit soars when I look out over a wide expanse of ocean, gaze up in wonder at incredible mountainsides or at the sweeping vistas from their paths and miradors, or quietly contemplate what thousands years old giant redwoods might have seen!
I’ve had such great experiences traveling in the last few years .... seeing the beauty, history, culture and delights of each place. Sharing those great experiences with CS'ers and the friendships that leads to has been a real joy! I cherish the special times, conversations and adventures!
I believe going with the flow creates a magic in the universe that we might not be a part of otherwise! Growing and opening ourselves through tools, like yoga, meditation, nature and travels, in order to be aware and caring people, seems to me the best way to include as much, and as many as possible, and to navigate this world we're in! Enjoying the vibrancy of a city .... with good food, art, culture and interesting people .... blended with some time in nature, with tranquility and peace, creates balance for me.
We're a community and each person is a unique, special part of the whole!
-Defining Poetry-
(Going with the good flow, relaxing, and allowing the light to fill us and to shine out!)
Around me the trees stir in their leaves
and call out, “Stay awhile.”
The light flows from their branches.
And they call again, “It’s simple,” they say,
“and you too have come
into the world to do this, to go easy, to be filled with light, and to shine.”
-Mary Oliver-
(Focusing on what we have in common as humans.)
“Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other”
doesn’t make any sense."
-Rumi-
(Noticing the incredible world around us and being grateful, appreciating it!)
"My work is loving the world.
Here the sunflowers, there the hummingbird —" ....
