About Me
Hi, I’m Paulina, nice to meet you! 😊 I’m 25 years old and originally from Poland. I’m an aspiring digital nomad, currently working on developing my own business after hours (in the field of virtual assistance).
In my free time, I train Muay Thai, boxing, and aero kickboxing. In the evenings, I usually dive into books – either something psychology-related or a good crime novel.
I also have a soft spot for learning foreign languages – I’m taking it slow, but I believe that with patience and small steps, anything is achievable. 🇬🇧🇷🇺🇪🇸
I’m an optimist who loves discovering new corners of the world and meeting new people! 🌍
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe it’s the perfect way to combine traveling with meeting new people and exploring different cultures. No one knows a city or local traditions better than its residents, and this platform allows me to discover places from a completely new perspective.
An additional benefit is the opportunity to practice foreign languages – and who knows, maybe even learn a completely new one!
For me, Couchsurfing is a fantastic addition to any trip, even to the most remote corners of the world. Even when traveling solo, you can find a companion to explore with and enjoy great company.
And maybe it’s also a chance to build meaningful new friendships?

Music, Movies, and Books
Music
I mostly listen to Polish songs, especially by young-generation artists. However, there are days when I enjoy going back to older classics – it all depends on my mood. Music is also a great way for me to exchange international inspirations and discover new sounds!
Movies
I usually go for psychological thrillers and crime stories. I also enjoy watching movies about athletes. The only genre I avoid is horror.
Books
Similar to movies, but I also add personal development and psychology-related books to my list.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
If I had to choose just one thing, I’d say I’ve opened myself up to dreams, travel, and people. There was a time when I hesitated, waited, or even feared traveling alone or going to a concert by myself. Now, I feel like everything is within my reach! 😊
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d be happy to share Polish culture with my host and tell you some interesting facts, especially from the world of sports, which I’m a big fan of. I’d also be delighted to introduce you to some Polish music and share my favorite songs.
As a graduate with a master’s degree in psychology in business, I’d love to talk about people, decision-making, business, or psychology – these are topics I’m truly passionate about.
On a more practical note, one of my biggest areas of interest is personal finance. I can show you how to manage a household budget, set financial goals, and take care of your finances in a simple and effective way. It’s doable – and absolutely worth it!
If you’re a sports enthusiast, we could work out together, go for a training session, or even a hiking trip. And for language lovers – I’d happily practice foreign languages with you or teach you the basics of Polish!
