Artist/ Art student in Ghent :)
I travelled for some months after graduating my bachelor studies in Antwerp,

In Antwerp I used to live in a communal artist house/ atelier space with 5 other people on one floor and 15 amazing people in total. It used to be a factory-like building and the 'landlord' build everything in here himself together with other people to make it atelier spaces for artists to live together, work together, party together and really be a constantly changing community.

Since I have moved to Ghent to continue my Master studies, I have rented a vacant building that I want to share with friends, travellers and artists in a similar way as the place I lived in Antwerp! Trying to build a community-like house that is busy with art and human connection, it is truly an adventure and a big learning opportunity for me!

I am working on my master thesis right now that focuses on collective living and working as artists so my work and life really become one (in a nice way!)

After finishing my masters I hope to travel full time for a year or two (or three,...) and my biggest dream is to live with my dog in a camper van! (but first, I have to learn how to drive a car...)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I get so much energy and joy from meeting new people, sharing artistic views and getting new insights into things I know about or things I don't know about yet.
Even when I try to do my own research on things, you can always learn so much more just from talking to other people :)
When I am able, I would like to host people and until then it would be awesome to meet some people from couchsurfing to get to know the community better.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Me and my best friend Marie have just bought a caravan and are starting the renovations so one day we might be able to live in it for some time and host travelers during the warmer months :)

I have traveled through Belgium, a part of France and the Eifel in Germany on a tandem (her name is Miranda) in 2021 camping with the hammock and it was so amazing! These travels weren't about getting to a destination and we hadn't made any plans at all. Just folowing our map and compas from village to village. On our way we met few but incredibly interesting people who taught us new ways to think about our lives and all the ways we can live them.
