My name is Pauline, from France, and I am 24 years old!

I've just graduated from university (engineering school) in Paris. My main topics were "Renewable energies" and "Climate and Environment" 👩‍🎓

As I didn't want to work on a computer, in an office from 9 to 5, I am currently travelling to Cambodia to work 6 month in an NGO which provides free education to girls from the poorest families of the region 🇰🇭

But, as I want to reduce my environmental impact, I decided to travel from France to Cambodia not by plane but by train, journeying across the entire Europe and Asia ! 🌍

Then, I will be travelling with my partner Quentin from January to March 2026 📅

We both do like hiking, cooking, meeting new people, and among our friends, we are known to be very smily 😊

It would be a real pleasure to meet you, to share some local or French food, to have a drink, to visit your favorite places in town or to sing French songs 😉

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From January to March 2026, with my partner Quentin, we will be travelling from France to Cambodia! 🇫🇷 ➡️ 🚃 ➡️ 🇰🇭

We will journey across Europe, Turkey, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, China and Vietnam to reach our soon-to-be workplace in Cambodia!

While we are travelling, we would like to meet you, people from all of those countries, to discover your way-of-life, your culture and what you do for a living! 👷‍♀️👨‍💼

We want to shoot a short documentary that relates our trip to Cambodia and speaks about what we learned from every strangers we met on the way!

Pauline : I've been part of a musical for 5 years. Singing and acting really are my main hobbies 🎤
I also play table tennis 🏓

Quentin : As I come from the Alps region in France, I do love hiking in the mountains ⛰️
Also, I play music (clarinet and drums), been part of a band since my childhood 🎷

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We have already been in Cambodia 2 years ago, and we went out for a 3 days long trekking in the jungle 🌿
We cooked our meals in bamboo sticks, drunk water directly from the river, and slept in hamacs, being woken up by the monkeys singing 🐒
This is one of our favorite memories😂

Teach, Learn, Share

We love to learn a few words of the local languages of the countries we are travelling in 🗣
We are currently learning khmer (សួស្តី ! ☺️)

Also, we can teach you a few French words or cook a typical French meal with you 😉

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you agree to host us for a night, we can meet you either directly to your place or to a restaurant, at the time you want !

We do have inflatable mattresses and sleeping bags, so we only need a small place to put them if that's easier for you. We don't want to disturb you in any way!

If you want, we can either cook with you or bring some food, and we will help you in any way you need ☺️
