ABOUT ME

After traveling and living in many places including south west England for nearly 10 years, I have now settle with my family in my home town the Czech Republic. We are family who don't own a car and therefore travel all the time. Our favorite mode of transport is train. My partner is English and our children are bilingual. Our kids are sometimes noisy a they are known to spill drinks occasionally, but are we usually easy going, adaptable and flexible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have know about this for ages, but before I had children I use to backpack and was able to sleep anywhere. I have many great experience of being invited to other people homes. When backpacking in Chile with Karl we were constantly amazed by generosity of local people. Only recently we have moved to our own flat and now we are able to give back. But as the town we live in is slightly off travelers' beaten path I suppose if would be better to come forward by inviting guests via this website.

Between us - photography (I carry my camera around almost all the time), music (Karl rock music library takes up a good chunk of our hard drive memory), trains and track (that goes for our boys and include toy trains and toy tow tracks). We also like skiing, cycling, camping, dancing, eating, talking to people and even watching TV.
