Getting my shit properly together :)
Find me here also:
I guess you can check the references people left me, if you want the opinion of others. :)
Norwegian dude, located in Romania/Bucharest. Lived in Serbia/Novi Sad (2012), Indonesia/Bali (2010-2012) and in Germany/Berlin (2009) before that.
I can be very social, but I'm also happy being with myself doing my own things.
I sometimes have a very irregular sleeping pattern, though I'm always trying to fix it.
I love summer, but I also love snow and skiing when that happens.
And I really think meeting other people is one of life's greatest pleasures and necessities.
I like Buddhism, and I try to be positive and non-judgmental, I believe that's how you meet quality people who think the same.
I also think we all have frequencies that people tune in on, and that good people have the same kind of friends around them. (Basically "The Law of Attraction", I guess.)
Also I really like the writings and practical life philosophies of Steve Pavlina and Brian Tracy. Google them - they are both REALLY good. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Doing my best to tell people about CS and the place I live in, or show them around. And if I have a couch of course I will host people!
Stayed with or hung out with CS'ers in Bali, Berlin, Barcelona, Lisbon, Ljubljana and Zagreb. Great thing!
Friends (old and new), music, films, culture, arts...
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a music journalist and DJ, so I love a lot of music; soul/funk, pop, electronic, rock, downbeat, jazz, old school hip hop, classical...
I watch a lot of films, everything from obscure art cinema to more Hollywood'ish stuff. You gotta love the net! You can find everything!
As for books, lately I especially like authors like Alain de Botton (i.e. "Status Anxiety"), Malcolm Gladwell, Neil Strauss and other things that are more geared towards interesting practical philosophy, the big connections of life, twisted memoirs, travel journals...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming naked in the Black Sea and snorkling in Bali - but I want to do more amazing things...
Teach, Learn, Share
Psychology, sociology, human nature, etc. "Life, love and the sea" are always interesting subjects...
