About Me

Hey Couchsurfers,

I’m Sarah—an outdoors‑loving, faith‑filled fashion and face model, gospel‑music enthusiast, and adventure junkie who believes kindness is a universal language.
• 🏡 Home base: Abuja, but you’ll often catch me chasing hidden waterfalls, ambling scenic trails, or mentoring artisans via African Souvenir Hub.
• 🎤 Passions: Sunrise hikes, worship concerts, spontaneous camping, sunset watching.
• 🤝 Volunteer life: Faith‑based outreach, humanitarian aid, youth empowerment—travel with impact is my motto.
• 👣 Ambassador role: Helping new members feel welcome, safe, and connected—online and physically.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is the perfect blend of community, culture, and curiosity. Sharing homes and stories breaks down barriers faster than any guidebook ever could. I’m here to keep that spirit alive: opening doors, building trust, and reminding travelers that the world is full of friends we simply haven’t met yet.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎧🎬📚 My Favorite Things

I find joy, inspiration, and spiritual depth through the music I listen to, the stories I watch, and the books I read. These things aren’t just entertainment—they shape my worldview, fuel my faith, and add color to my journey.

🎵 Music

Music is a big part of my life—it uplifts, heals, and connects souls. I especially love:
• Gospel Worship and Praise – soul-stirring anthems that draw me closer to God.
• Christian Country and R and B– heartfelt songs with powerful stories.
That’s awesome — welcome to the Couchsurfing community!
You’re definitely in for a great experience. It’s a fun way to meet new people, share stories, and explore places through local eyes. 🌍✨

Looking forward to seeing you connect, laugh, and create unforgettable memories. Have an amazing first time! 🙌 gentle rhythms.
• Clean Christian Rock / Alternative – high energy for travel days, nature trails, and movement.
• Contemporary Christian and Inspirational – everyday reminders of God’s goodness and promises.

Whether I’m worshiping, on the road, or cooking with joy—music always sets the tone.

🎬 Movies

I’m drawn to films that inspire, teach, and uplift. I especially enjoy:
• Faith-based films like War Room, The Shack, Overcomer, Heaven Is for Real, and Courageous
• True stories and biopics that show perseverance, hope, and purpose
• Christian documentaries and missions films that reveal the beauty of compassion, service, and faith in action

These types of stories always leave me reflecting and re-energized.

📚 Books

Books are my sanctuary of wisdom, courage, and spiritual direction. I’m especially drawn to Christian inspiration, leadership, and faith-filled life teachings. A few that have truly impacted me include:
• Holy Spirit, My Senior Partner by David Yonggi Cho – a powerful guide to building daily intimacy with the Holy Spirit.
• The Holy Spirit: Experiencing His Power and Presence by David Diga Hernandez – a deeply insightful book that unlocked new levels of understanding for me about the person and work of the Holy Spirit. David Diga Hernandez’s ministry has been especially transformative in my life. Through his teachings, I learned to cultivate a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit—not just as a concept, but as a daily companion, guide, and source of power. His ministry ignited in me a greater hunger for God’s presence and a boldness to walk in spiritual authority.
• Outrageous Courage by Kris Vallotton & Jason Vallotton – real-life faith stories that challenge comfort zones and spark boldness.
• Books by Dag Heward-Mills – especially his Loyalty & Disloyalty series, rich in leadership, loyalty, and personal growth insights.
• 30 Secrets to the Top and 21 Uncommon Keys to Financial Overflow by Dr. Paul Enenche – practical, purpose-driven wisdom for anyone pursuing excellence and kingdom impact.
• Redesign and Thrive by Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo – empowering reads that encourage you to live intentionally and walk boldly in your calling.
• Designer of My Days and Decree Your Day by Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo – devotionals filled with daily affirmations, scriptural insights, and destiny-shaping declarations.

Beyond the books, the ministry and personal mentorship of my spiritual parents, Rev. Biodun Fatoyinbo and Pastor Modele Fatoyinbo, have radically shaped and imparted my entire life. Their unwavering love, pursuit of excellence, and deep revelation of the Word have ignited a passion in me to live purposefully and serve God with integrity. Through their leadership, I’ve learned not only how to build a strong spiritual foundation, but also how to carry myself with grace, discipline, and kingdom focus. Their example continues to inspire me to walk boldly in my calling, stay faithful, and lead with love.

I also appreciate the works of Joyce Meyer, T.D. Jakes, Priscilla Shirer, and Sarah Jakes Roberts, along with inspiring biographies and historical books that showcase real courage and faith in action.

In everything from a quiet morning devotional to a lively music-filled road trip—I’m fueled by what uplifts the spirit and sparks meaningful connection.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

🌟 One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once explored Morocco solo for 21 days—wandering through bustling souks, riding camels in the Sahara, hiking the Atlas Mountains, and soaking in the rich culture, colors, and cuisine. It was a journey of courage, growth, and unforgettable beauty.

Oh—and yes, I’ve carried a live snake around my neck in the middle of a wild adventure moment! 😄
All for the thrill of the story and the love of bold, fearless exploration.

Adventure is in my DNA. 💫

Teach, Learn, Share

👩🏽‍🍳 What I Can Teach or Share

I’m a passionate food explorer and home cook, and I absolutely love sharing flavors from my culture (and learning yours too!). If we meet, we can definitely cook something delicious together—whether it’s a local Nigerian dish, a fusion recipe, or a spontaneous meal from whatever’s in the kitchen. 🍲✨

I’m also happy to share:
• 🌍 Travel tips and hacks from exploring different parts of Africa and beyond
• 🤝 Inspiring faith-based conversations and encouragement (for anyone open to it!)
• 💼 Insights on e-commerce and creative entrepreneurship from my work with African Souvenir Hub
• 📸 Photography posing and confidence tips from my experience as a fashion and face model
• 💬 And of course great stories, laughter, and friendship

Whether we’re cooking, walking, or just chatting over tea, I love meaningful connection and mutual exchange. Let’s share something real!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe in leaving every space better than I found it—so I bring with me kindness, generosity, and a genuine heart.

I’m happy to share my time, positive energy, good conversation, and certainly anything I can contribute—whether that’s cooking a delicious meal, helping around the house, offering encouragement, or simply being present and respectful in your space.

For me, Couchsurfing is not just about a place to stay. It’s about connection, gratitude, and shared experiences. 💛
