HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I advise not to come to my place, unless you wanna get out of here fat as hell. And wine lover. And beer drinker. And night out addict. Besides travelling, that's what you're going to do here. And that's what I'm going to do when I go to your place. Because if you come to my place, I'm going to yours! I'll find you and I'll k... NO NO! I'm not Liam Neeson and this is not Taken!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Till today I just had two experiences of Couchsurfing and it was amazing.
First one was in Guaruja, Brasil. Since I was living in Sao Paulo and there's no beach in there, me and two more friends went to Guarujá and there was a new zealander ("kiwi"? AHAH!) guy who accepted us to stay at his home. There, he teached us to surf and showed us a lot of things that we probably wouldn't see or do without his help. And I guess that is one of many advantages that Couchsurfing can offer to everyone who participate, beyond knowing other people and make friends wherever we go.
The second time was during a journey through South America. Since it was Christmas time, I didn't expect to be accepted but surprisingly there was a friendly girl in Lima, Peru, who received me and my friend at her home and we spent christmas and the following days with her and her welcoming and numerous family. Best way ever to learn about the habits, traditions and typical gastronomy of the country. Awesome!

兴趣

Well, I can say that I'm addicted to cinema, series and music. I like music festivals. I love music festivals!
I like cooking as much as I like to eat.
I like sports as well, primarily football, which I often play.
As an Industrial biotechnologist, I'm interested in science and and I like to keep up with its development.

About music is almost the same, I listen to a lot of different things and can appreciate several distinct styles. I love Queens of The Stone Age and The Prodigy. Then there are the bands that I like to have in my mp3 player: System of a Down, Deftones, Dinosaur Jr, Machine Head, Metallica, Slipknot, Marilyn Manson, Jimi Hendrix, Artic Monkeys, Korn, Rage Against the Machine, Red Fang, Alice in Chains, Mastodon, Radiohead, Gorillaz, Daft Punk, LCD Soundsystem, FatboySlim, Portishead, White Stripes, The Chemical Brothers. Yeah, it looks like I'm a metalhead! But I enjoy other music styles as much as Rock/Metal. For exemple Rock'N'Roll of Chuck Berry, The Rolling Stones, Queen, AC/DC and Elvis Presley, PopRock Music as Beatles, Foo Fighters, Pulp and Blur, Indie Rock of Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, Ther XX and The Strokes... God Dammit! That's all about rock! Ok... Blues of Ray Charles and BBKing, Nina Simone or John Lee Hooker, Alternative Electronic scene just like Depeche Mode, Crystal Castles and Cut Copy, Rap of Kanye West, Jay-z, Nas, Notorious B.I.G, Tupac Shakur, DJ Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince.

Regarding the books, I'm not a person that reads too much, especially books. I prefer to read some magazines and newspapers.

Spend Christmas time as a stranger guest in a typical peruvian family.
Do an insane Andes Bus ride from Cusco to Machupicchu.
Spend New Year's Eve in Isla de Sol, an island of Lake Titicaca, Bolivia.
See the sunset in Ipanema Beach, Rio de Janeiro.
