My name is Pélagie. I'm passionate about the sixties and the seventies, kitsch stuffs, Frankie Valli's voice, Poison Ivy's sex-appeal, Basquiat's street art, Surrealist Art and poetry, Ionesco's theater of the absurd, everything about dream, New Orleans voodoo, Indian spiritualities, Japanese traditions..and much more! My person is a joyful mix of all of this, so, I guess we can say that I'm open-minded. Despite my originality I'm pretty sociable and friendly! I love bad sarcastic jokes! Except that, I'm (actually I wish I was an amazing) double bassist and I love making art, notably oil painting and wood engraving!

I would be happy to host, to help, to share, to talk, to laugh..! I've hosted few times in France and I'm currently hosting in Scotland. Before that, I've surfed quite a lot in England and in the US. And I made AMAZING friends!
Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy A LOT music from Jazz to Psychedelic rock.. Duke Ellington, Nina Simone, Toots & the Maytals, The Cramps, 13th Floor Elevators, Tame Impala.. Beethoven! My weekly Top 3: Whip it by Devo, Worship the sun by Allah-las and Whiskey by Kitty, Daisy & Lewis. For the movies, I mainly love the old or unusual ones : Freaks (1932), Clockwork Orange, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Trainspotting, Ex drummer, The Pervert's Guide to Ideology.. I do like series. Peaky Blinders and Broadwalk Empire are the best (indisputable fact). I LOVE watching documentaries and especially Arte channel.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I made a journey round the world by walk. Just kidding. I'm not an exemplary traveler! - I've been drunk on a bike in New Orleans (if you know the condition of the roads, you understand it is quite a feat I survived) - I've sailed with Captain Alain in the East River (NY) ! - I had 20/20 at an exam about the fermentation process of sauerkraut at the Baccalaureate. - I shaved my hair at 12. And continued doing so for approximately 5 years!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach French, bad English, invented (and sometimes doubtful) recipes, oil painting, how to ride a bike.. I can share my love for Music and Art, weird anecdotes about pretty everything, ideas, my lust for life! Learn me everything (interesting) you know, please.
My Interests
Like I said I'm a (sub)culture lover, what actually means that I'm interested about..EVERYTHING! I ask only to learn. I'm the most frustrated person ever, I have an endless list of things I wanna learn but one life is surely not gonna be enough! This list starts with learn Hindi and (for now) ends with learn how to make a sitar.
