My name is Petra and I live in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia.

I'm interested in travelling, eager to meet other cultures, nations, languages, customs and people. Besides my mother tongue I'm fluent in English, German, Serbo-Croatian (plus a bit of Spanish and Italian) and am always ready to learn a word in another language as well.

Couchsurfing has given me the opportunity to connect to amazing people, who are geographically in completely different spheres than mine, but resonate like long lost friends and I am truly grateful for this platform.

I love to hang out with people and joke around. I love to go into nature and do random car trips.
I love the anticipation of going somewhere new, filled with a mixture of anxiety and a sense of adventure.
If you like volleyball or beachvolley, just invite me to a game. Also if there's a dance event, we have to go see it :) Also just a chat in a nice cafe can be the most beautiful time spent.

I could write something basic like "watching the sunrise at Taj Mahal" or "tuk tuk racing in Srilanka" but I think that being happy in your day-to-day life is what counts the most.
