Overview
About Me
I'm Peter, 31, and have a lovely dog, Golyo (name referring to "fur ball" in Hungarian - see pics :)).
I am looking forward to meet nice people and get to know the different countries.
I'm a positively thinking and open person, who always looks at the bright side of life.
I like to laugh and have nice and meaningful conversations, I'm interested in all sorts of arts and love filling my belly with yummy food from all over the world.
Probably my biggest passion is travelling - mostly backpacking. Travelling means to me experience and embrace diversity at first hand and getting to know new people and cultures.
With my wife we've spent a lot of time in recent years in Asia and Australia, and also travelled a lot in Europe.
I'm happy to meet up with new people and looking forward to meet you in particular. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet new people from different places and backgrounds.
I knew about couchsurfing for a long time now, somehow it just did not occur as that good an option for travelling as a couple. Now that I'm travelling on my own, I came back to the idea, and I'm sure I'll like it a lot.

Music, Movies, and Books
Big Love from Scott Stabile - just read it recently and can recommend it to anyone. Stories from Scott's life with love and compassion in focus.
As for movies, I like European cinema a lot, it can be French, Scandinavian, Greek, you name it. Yet to see a Portuguese movie though, so I'd be really up for it. :)
In terms of music my taste is broad - I can enjoy any sorts of good music, maybe except for metal and R'n'B.
In case I go out, I like to go to cosy techno-electro clubs in Berlin with nice people around.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Once in the Philippines, we became friends with a local guide, Andy, who happened to be teaching at the local university. He invited us to such a nice valentine day's celebration at his school that also had a beauty pageant for transsexual-people studying at the university - so much fun, love and acceptance - Philippino people are so great. In the end we were given the honour to hand over the first place trophy to the winner. (see my pictures for the pageant)
Teach, Learn, Share
If I can share something, I'm happy to do so.
I'm always open to new experiences and I would love to continue experiencing new things throughout my life.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Whatever we feel like sharing. Hopefully some nice time together.
