About Me

Not available till March 15th.

CURRENT MISSION

My house is not in Patong or even a touristy part of Phuket: https://goo.gl/maps/BgvVEsXyEVk . Here you can find a few temples, enough good food, great roads for cycling (which I'm always up for), a small hill to climb and a beach 2 km from the house. I'm usually up to help moving around with my scooter.

ABOUT ME

The most important things for me are seeking knowledge and new experiences, constant improving. I believe that lately the balance of getting it is too skewed in the favor of books, hmm... very very good books. :)
But getting to know different and interesting people is important too and with the help of hosting I can do it in a comfortable environment of my house. No need to go outside too much! :)

PHILOSOPHY

That which can be destroyed by the truth should be.
That which the truth nourishes should thrive.

Happiness is not the most important thing in the world for me, but knowledge and constant improving. I would not become all that I could be, if I'm trying to be just happy. I would sacrifice my potential.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Mostly hosting as I'm too lazy to meet new people the normal way. )

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Excellent. Keep it coming!

Interests

Sports: Cycling and walking, table and big tennis, football (goalie), handball, and simply generall fitness, health and wellbeing.
Reading: mainly rational thinking, science fiction. Top 3 books for now: "Harry Potter and the Methods of Rationality", "Ender's game" and "Surely you're joking, Mr.Feynman".
Languages: German is going very good now, Japanese is a bit of a struggle. Studying languages is fun and a constant part of my daily schedule.
Also: Improving the way I think about and percieve things.
