About Me

learn @ life's intrinsic (invisible) indivisible miracle

Born & raised in the great state of Texas, I strive to lead a life of integrity. I was an exchange student in NRW Germany. I studied European History at Tulane amidst the elegant decadence of New Orleans. I wandered around South Korea, Europe & the US before deciding to become a physician. After volunteering for several years at the MD Anderson Cancer Center I graduated from medical school at UAG (Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara). I loved working, studying and living in Mexico.

¡Soy mexicano de corazón!

I finished my last year of clinical rotations with New York Medical College and am looking for a residency in (child & adolescent) neurology or psychiatry.

My Korean's still lousy; but my German & Spanish are fluent.

life = love = truth = beauty

Gratitude consists of kind ACTS, not polished WORDS

Faith requires sincere belief in something far greater than oneself

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hosted quite a bit during my time in New York & Mexico.

I enjoy connecting new friends with the lovely people I have hosted over the years.

Very very grateful to meet interesting souls who share my curiosity about the wider world.

Delivered babies during my OB/GYN rotation: every life's miraculous first moments. Mothers endure agony to bear children.

No man can be a misogynist after bringing life into the world. All women deserve respect.

Teach, Learn, Share

When learning a language, remember babies begin by babbling. No reason to feel self-conscious so long as your audience understands the sense of what you are saying.

(Try *Duolingo*! I am using it to learn portuguese with great success!)

One won't know whether you truly dislike something without trying it at least once.

CHANEL makes excellent cologne because it is the sole product they make for men.
