我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've used couchsurfing a few times in the very distant past (both as a host and as a guest). Results were sort of mixed (some average, some awkward, some great), but I did make a few truly valuable connections that made the whole endeavour totally worth it.

I am currently living in a new city, with limited social connections and I do have a spare bedroom... So if it comes to genuine, open, good people... I might be willing to host again. Asides from hosting, I might also be happy to meet up and spend some time together... maybe having a good conversation, maybe taking a walk in nature, maybe both.

In my free time I like to play music (I play a bit of piano, some guitar and sometimes sing) and listen to it (these days I am fascinated by classical music), I like reading books (I only read non-fiction, mainly philosophy/psychology/science), whenever I have the opportunity I like to spend time in nature, I meditate and I try to exercise regularly, I like listening to podcasts, and I sometimes like to watch movies, tv shows and documentaries, and of course youtube videos (I mostly hang out at what you might call the "educational side of youtube").

When I'm not alone I enjoy spending quality time connecting with other people: I almost never go out at night clubs or coffee houses but I greatly enjoy deep and honest conversations, and I'm usually down for board games and outdoor activities.
