About Me
CURRENT MISSION:
Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for travelers. Facilitate the sharing of experiences, meaningful conversations, and fostering connections that transform acquaintances into friends. Having experienced travel myself, I understand the impact of a friendly, inviting presence, and I aim to provide that sense of hospitality for others on their journeys into the unknown.
ABOUT ME:
The most important information to note is that I reside on the outskirts of Houston, approximately a 15 to 20-minute drive to downtown. This commute is quite manageable for daily work purposes and typically quick. However, if transportation is an issue, getting around may be challenging. While Uber and Lyft are available, there is no public transportation such as buses in my area. I am happy to provide rides occasionally but do not rely on me as your primary mode of transportation.
Additionally, I would like to mention that I have an pet snake, an 8-foot albino reticulated python. It is housed in its own enclosure and is rarely outside of it. The snake is generally docile and inquisitive; however, I understand some individuals may have fears of snakes. If you are uncomfortable, the snake will be kept in an enclosure away from your living space. Please consider this before making any arrangements, as coexistence might be difficult if you have a strong fear. Many of my references mention my dog, who is now deceased, she is truly missed. Sorry her energy wont be able to be experienced. But her spirit lives on.
I tend to approach life with an open mind and look for the positive in many situations, provided they are not harmful to myself or others. I am not highly political but will speak out against injustice when necessary. I am passionate about the arts—poetry, photography, and other creative pursuits—and am exploring mixed media painting. I have diverse interests and enjoy engaging conversations. My musical tastes are eclectic, and my personal style favors simplicity and quality over quantity, leaning towards a relaxed aesthetic rather than organized chaos. I enjoy occasional drinks and am 420 friendly; I am comfortable with your preferences regarding this. I value human connection and am open to meaningful interactions.
That summarizes the key points for now.
PHILOSOPHY (favorite quotes)
If being real is wrong and I have to pretend for you. Give me a costume that resembles me, and let me pretend to be myself. -Anonymous.
Never forget that the purpose for which a man lives is the improvement of the man himself, so that he may go out of this world having, in his great sphere or his small one, done some little good for his fellow creatures and labored a little to diminish the sin and sorrow that are in the world. - W.E. Gladstone.

My hobbies also include cooking, reading, and a deep appreciation for music across various genres. I enjoy attending festivals and exploring a wide range of interests. Additionally, I find karaoke to be fun, even if I don’t consider myself a professional singer, and I appreciate engaging in conversations about a variety of topics.

Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite movies include "The Color Purple." I tend to be quite emotional when watching sad films, and I also enjoy documentaries. Horror movies can be unpredictable for me, but I do appreciate a good thriller.
In terms of reading, I prefer autobiographies and memoirs that offer personal insights. While I enjoyed fiction more in my youth, I now have a stronger interest in history and real-life events.
My musical tastes are quite eclectic. I enjoy genres such as house, drum and bass, dubstep, acoustic, R&B, rap, a touch of country (being from Texas), Zydeco, blues, jazz, pop (not all), electronic music, and more. My playlist is a diverse mix that reflects a broad and varied appreciation for music.
Some of my favorite artists include Telepopmusik, Sia, Damien Rice, Thievery Corporation, Zero 7, Bluesix, Matisyahu, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Adele, Willow Smith, Lauryn Hill, and others.
