Hi! I'm Philipp, a guy from Germany who loves to meet new people! I'm currently on my trip around the world (I want to go to every country) and although I love the hotels I get to stay at on my work trips, I've found that I enjoy the local vibe and interactions a lot more!

Also, I love economy! I have a bachelor's degree in business administration. I actually create TikTok Videos about economy in Portuguese because I really think that the missing financial education is a major problem (and I love to help).

One of my big passions is aviation. I love airplanes, work as a flight attendant and I even have a pilot's license myself :)

Besides that, I just started to become more and more interested in photography and videography. I'm more or less always walking around with a camera, and I'm working on growing my YouTube Channel this year (it's okay if you don't like being on camera, though :) ).

Lastly, I LOVE making (and eating) pizza! I've mastered my pizza-skills in the last couple of years, and there's not much that I enjoy more than making family and friends smile with good pizza!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I'm looking for a relaxing two weeks on the beach, I'm most likely going to choose a hotel. When I, however, visit a place (alone), to really experience the local culture, understand the people's habits, get to know the differences between our lives, and make new friends, I feel like Couchsurfing is the best place to go!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Latin American music. Be it Spanish Reggaetón or Portuguese Forró, I will probably vibe with it :P

When it comes to books, I only read finance/investment related books every once in a while. So mostly to learn new things, not to be entertained.

And movies... If I had to choose one, it would probably be something like The Big Short or The Wolf of Wall Street, but as long as it's a more or less funny movie, I will probably enjoy it :) I don't really watch too many movies or TV shows, though.
