About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meeting new people, in my new city, New York!

ABOUT ME

I graduated from Northern Michigan University in May and then moved to London, England. I enjoy exploring the city as much as possible, as well as travelling around when I can afford it. I'm returning home in November, but I might be coming back to England shortly after. I'm really sorry I don't have a couch available; I seriously don't have any room (that's how it is in England) - I'll make it up to you couchsurfers when I return to America!

Update: Back in the U.S.A. and now living in Chicago. It's a cool city and plenty to explore. Feel free to look me up if you're in town!

New Update: I now live in California and, unfortunately, don't have a couch for anyone to stay at right now. I'm moving to NYC for grad school in a few months, so I'll probably have a dive apartment there where people can stay!

Newer Update: I now live in New York City and am getting my master's at NYU. My place is so small that I can hardly stay there (no couch available, sorry). I'm warming up to the city and am up for meeting new friends!

PHILOSOPHY

"Why are those whom we call lords, masters over us? How have they deserved it? By what right do they keep us enslaved? We are all descended from our first parents, Adam and Eve; how then can they say that they are better than us... They are dressed in velvet and furs, while we wear only cloth. They have wine, and spices and good bread, while we have rye bread and water. They have fine houses and manors, and we have to brave the wind and rain as we toil in the fields. It is by the sweat of our brows that they maintain their high state." - John Ball

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I first joined in 2005 at the request of my friend, HungrySteve, and have loved it ever since. I hosted people in Chicago, but my last two locations have prevented me from hosting. I hope someday I'll have my own place where I can host again.
