CURRENT MISSION Just survive :-) ABOUT ME I'm 26. I was born in Rome and I'm living in Sydney. I am in a sort of big trip, I started from South America since 2006 and now I am planning staying here for a year (maximum). I already have a flight to Bangkok on January 22nd 2009 and from there I will move to Laos, Vietnam, Cambodia and who knows where else! You may be interested in reading other people's references to know something about my personality. I speak only intermediate English, so if you notice some grammar or orthography errors write me and I'll correct them :-) I'm a non-smoker and I'm a vegetarian. I like to drink beer and other alcoholic drinks, sometimes, but not to abuse. I have a flat in Rome and I have a car, but at the moment I am living in Australia. I love animals (so I don't eat them!), my family has some pets (cats and dogs). About my education: I recently finished with the University in Italy, I am so happy! I spent an University year in Madrid, studying in the Universidad Autonoma de Madrid, and had a great time there! I am not married but I think that someday I will :-) I'm single at the moment and I don't think I will get a girlfriend now, because I always go away :-) PHILOSOPHY The secret method of inviting good fortune. The marvelous medicine for all sickness Just for today: Do not be angry Do not be worried Be grateful Work hard (on improving yourself) Be kind to others.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE I started with couchsurfing as host, in Rome. I had so many requests! Everybody was so nice! So when I started my crazy trip I started also to surf other people's couchs, and it was great, I met so many intresting people and everybody has been so kind and helpful! I also partecipate to some meeting, is very funny.
Music, Movies, and Books
I'm really interested in Latino-American culture. I like Argentina's rock music, I love to watch "peliculas" of South American directors (my favourite film is "Diarios de motocicleta") even if only a few movies of that kind are shown here in Europe. My favourite book is by Eduardo Galeano - Las venas abiertas de América Latina.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
The craziest thing that's ever happened to me was when the motor of the bus I was travelling on broke, so I had to spent a night in the middle of the Chaco desert (between Bolivia and Paraguay).
Teach, Learn, Share
I am interested in language exchange. I teach you Italian and you teach me your English. I have books and I did it before.
My Interests
I love studying foreign languages, I'm fluent in Spanish (I lived in Spain and Uruguay) but I have some difficulties with English :-) I want to improve my English as soon as possible, to get a good job when I'll be back to Italy (or in any other country). I like sports, and I play soccer every Wednesday evening at Wentworth Park with a lot of friends. You can join us if you want!
