A litany of contradictions: a shy bookworm who craves the stage, a dreamy Anglophile with a taste for the blues, a Colorado gal at home among ivy-clad towers; a humanities nut and a science enthusiast, a romantic and a skeptic. I can hardly make a statement without wanting to append its reverse.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life as though I were writing it in a book: I want it to be worth reading.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been aiding and abetting couch-surfers all my life. I come from a large international family, so vacations usually mean camping out in somebody's spare room or parlor! I love meeting new folks and making people's lives a bit easier. I hope I'll be able to help you out!

兴趣

I'm a serial hobbyist. Theatre, books, film, museums, nature identification, contra dance, the Sox, travel: I'm easily enthused. Not quite an adventurer, but surely an explorer: hills and mountains in fair weather, greenhouses and libraries in foul.
