CURRENT MISSION Research on immigarnt populations ABOUT ME I am. I am also becoming a student by going to school, studying social science, namely immigration. I hope one day to get a job in doing something that brings about some positive change. I don't not view work as the total accomplishment of life but while I must (?) work to earn a living it might as well be something other than just making money off of people. Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING I would like to meet people of varying opinions, because surrounding oneself with like minded people can be far too comforting. I have never couch surfed (formally) although when spending time at others' houses I can cook, do the dishes, and other small things that help when living in others' space.
Music, Movies, and Books
Sucker for Hemmingway, read but do not identify with Houellebecq. I listen to Bob Dylan and think about past travels. Eno and Bowie. I like film but don't sit through many of them: Anytime anyone asks you what your favorite is you tend to forget instantly. Like trying to DJ You Tube at a party and drawing a blank. Punk Rock, and cliche 60's music, and Steinbeck, and some Russian lit.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
Almost got blown up hitchiking in Bosnia when trying to camp by the side of the road. Riding horses through sunflower fields in the south of France.
My Interests
I write alot, although I am not sure that it is of any interest. You can make up your mind. Other than that I like riding bikes up and down hills, skateboarding and painting. Oh and of travel, but then again not many people don't! I ride horses.
