ABOUT ME
=)
I think I'm an optimistic guy but working far too much (even when I'm not working) # Now working on getting some more travel and hoping to "discover" warm-hearted crazy people along the way who'll share experience with me or let me broaden my understanding #Certainly not right straight forward at the beginning # Friendship is really important to me # Never mind the place when ppl get together #
As I'm regularly travelling because I like it and it's needed for my job, I might be hard to catch at home and not always easy to quickly answer messages... take your chance though...
PHILOSOPHY
Don't just believe, experiment by yourself # Always respect others in their differences and try to stay as open as possible and share as much as possible (if someone succeed 100% in it, please contact me urgently) # Be unbrained as much as possible... as U can't see.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Just catching opportunities
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Been here, done that... what I (try to) remember are people. I love numbers and statistics, but they don't explane or shows ones experience. The only experience I still miss is a bad one. No help is needed though.
Interests
Learning about knew cultures
Traveling, specially in mountain trains!
Transportation / public transports
Acting
R ock, stg-rock and rock-stg concerts. Making new friendschips. eating fruits & cheese. HC/CS meetings. Freely enjoying alternatively the exhales of sea and earth, hearing those tiny noises at one end of the day, just by sitting alone in the nude on a desert remoted beach (no way to do that in Switzerland!)
Music, Movies, and Books
Why do I always forget when one tells me about a good book, a fantastic movie or a delicious song!
unfortunately, I might be mainly mainstream...
Try the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy. Fits this place.
-- I take pleasure seeing The Rocky Horror Picture Show (unfortunately only on TV and never in London yet), Coppola's Dracula, all the lil' simple happy things in Amelie Poulain (+soundtrack), Into the wild, Moulin Rouge, most of Tarantino's and Almodovar's movies...
-- Read & see The Lord of the Ring, went quite quickly through quite a few Asimov's novels (Robots, Empire & Foundation series mostly), dig some modern travel stories (haven't been for english books though)
-- listen to Pink Martini (incredible in live acts), Soul Asylum, Grant Lee Buffalo, Muse, Semisonic, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, Gorillaz, Salad, Madonna, Johan Strauss's Radetzky March, Imbruglia, Moby, The Offsprings, No Doubt, Shai No Shai, Pink, Starsailor, Roberto&Gabriela and a full bunch of french music, -M-, Tryo, Kyo, Mickey3D, Shaka Ponk or a bit of german (eg Peter Fox)...but changes from time to time, the list was originally written in 2005, and I certainly wouldn't put it down exactly that way today. And any music is even better when live, that never changed.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Got born. Watch sparkling sea water while flushing toilets.
Learned quebec french in a catholic school in Yokohama, that was held by an order founded in Britain.
Visited Rome in 8 hours (I probably might have to go back... it seems I've missed a few things to see and experience). Anyway, everyday life can be amazing... up to us.
Teach, Learn, Share
Always ready to share some local cheeses ;)
