About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Surviving Minnesota Life

ABOUT ME

I think of myself as an RPCV (returned Peace Corps volunteer) from Ukraine. I've slept on couches before and just want to offer somebody mine instead of blowing $100+ a night on a hotel room you won't even have for 24 hours.

I'm pretty open-minded about the world; and when I say that it means I eat a variety of foods, have been to numerous countries and can view things from a perspective other than my own.

When I was growing up I hosted a croatian exchange student and several friends from Costa Rica. Basically I'm just looking to continue a tradition of hospitality for people from out of town and to help make your trip to my realm a positive one.

PHILOSOPHY

Traveling Vagabond, There's so much to see before you die. I want to see as much as I can.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I donated a few bucks to the site and am available to host weary travelers.
I'll even pick you up at the bus/train station/ airport.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few people now, a few couples and several solo travelers. It's been kinda fun finding out about other peoples hometowns and travels.

I try to be fond of learning. chances are there's something you've done that I'll find interesting to listen to.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots, there's no way I'm going to take the time to adequately list them all.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I saw this one girl naked. It was Amazing. Seriously? I've been to 30 countries and lived in three. I walked in an anti-iraq war peace march in San Francisco. I built a basketball court in Ukraine. I saw the Orchid Garden in singapore. I had an 18 course culinary orgasm in Aizu-wakamatsu, Japan. I saw the ruins of Nan Madol, Micronesia, I solo canoed the Mississippi River From Itasca to New Orleans. She had red hair and we were on shrooms. I'll never forget it.

Teach, Learn, Share

Seldom do people dance sober unless they are insane.

Fortune favors the brave.
