About Me

I am a 华侨 born in the vicinity of Jakarta. Currently, I am working in Beijing and living in Zhongguancun area.

I would love to teach and learn different cultures and languages.

I'm the kind of person who likes to think simple out of complicated matters, but sometimes complicate simple matters.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My close friend once told me about this amazing cultural exchange site.

In the old days before I could afford to go to other countries, Couchsurfing brought those other countries to me. My first 6 months as Couchsurfer was SUPERB! , I met and interacted with 14 people from 9 different countries over the world. It was something I never imagined before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've done is actually being a Couchsurfing member.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a Westernized Asian, I've adapted many Western ways of life such as the freedom to think/talk and being on time. But one thing I still cannot accept for myself is the kind of toilet that provides only tissues and no water to clean my ******* after poop. Now since I'm living in a country with no pipets, I must learn to do it. :(

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually bring local things from my hometown to give to hosts while traveling.
I can also give hosts information about my hometown and places I ever visited.
Sharing Indonesian culture is a sure thing. I can also be the hosts' partner in playing music, chess, or badminton.

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Macao, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
