Music, Movies, and Books
My two favorite movies are documentaries: "koyaanisqatsi" because it captures life at the turn of the century as it enters globalization, and is a visual masterpiece; "Children Underground" because it captures my motivations for wanting to help others, in this case, street children who live in the underground tunnels of Bucharest, Romania.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I worked on horse ranch in Montana, Google in Silicon Valley, and as a senate legislative aide in Sacramento. Motorcycling across Turkey, scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef, and riding from Guatemala to Colombia en moto.
