About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Autodidactic throat singing

ABOUT ME

I think I'm one of these persons who suffer from a rhizomatic personality. I have a kind of completely structureless network of interests, with here and there some passions. I'm most certainly in love with music, although I'm not a very good practicer of it, more a listener. I can also safely say that I have a passion for conversations and for travelling, and, ..., well there is just a whole proliferation of topics that might be passions, or at least interests, but I'm probably not the one to decide about that.

PHILOSOPHY
Serendipity, providence, coincidence, kairos, joy in the perspective of adversity, relativism, collecting anecdotes, critical and creative rethinking, chaos, enthropy and it sociological application, the colonization of mars, eating a meal with relish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been a busy surfer and also joined CS meetings while travelling. I quite left the project aside for too long, also because my places of living were far from ideal to host surfers. But having a flat now with my girl friend in Gdansk, I'm welcoming the stranded, the happy and those with a good story.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well generally for all media, just what somehow is on the same frequency with the emotional life. For books that often contains these writings that develop surprising analogies and metaphors that imply a larger unity of things, and eventually start living a life of their own in your mind. For films I appreciate a subtle surrealistic coloring and music I will not even start about - that went way well beyond what is describable on a saturday evening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Buying horses in Mongolia.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well usually a speaker is not much without a few good ears. Teaching, learning or sharing depends for me just always on who you meet and how you meet them.
